Selangor FC has officially been drawn in Group G for the 2025/26 AFC Champions League Two (ACL TWO) tournament.

For the 2025/26 season, the Red Giants squad will face three renowned clubs such as Bangkok United FC from Thailand, Lion City Sailors FC from Singapore and Persib Bandung from Indonesia which will start in mid-September.

According to Selangor FC head coach, Katsuhito Kinoshi, all three teams have their own advantages and playing against neighboring countries is a good start for the team.

"First of all, this evening we were drawn in Group G along with teams from nearby countries, and I think this is a good start for the ACL TWO competition. Bangkok United, Lion City Sailors FC, and Persib Bandung are great teams with their own history. The football scene has just begun, of course each team has made improvements to get through this season. So we need to be ready to join this team," he explained.

"Our target is to qualify for the knockout stage, which will be another great achievement and milestone for the club. I will make sure the players are ready to face this competition. However, no matter who our opponents are, we have to give our best for ourselves and the team at all times," he added.

Selangor FC believes the team will give their best for the second year competing in the AFC Champions League 2 (ACL TWO).
